February 24, 2011

There is one thing that steps out as the highlight of our second and final trip into Juarez. That is the meeting that took place with the Tara Mara Indians who are a native group of the mountains of Mexico up to 500 km south of Juarez. They are different from the native Mexicans and have lived in a primitive fashion  for most of their existence.  There name means "runners" because of their incredible ability to not show fatigue and grow weary. They are known to be able to run 100 miles a day and are people of the mountains of Mexico.  They are a growing Christian population that is growing among this native group. As Tara Mara Indians venture into Juarez and other cities to find work they are the outcasts of this place. The people here in Mexico find there worth less than dogs. The group of Indians that we met have their own compound that is a place of safety for these people. They find them in the street because no one else will take them in. They care for their needs, help find them work and speak to them about Jesus. They are not worried about possessions or what they have in this life. They are all about the Jesus business and proclaiming his name to all around them. They are like the Levites of the bible. They did not have an inheritance of land or land. Their inheritance was the Lord and these people are like that. There sole purpose is to spread the message of the gospel. I voice cries out in the wilderness. What an experience.

We visited a compound "Shivita" yesterday that is being developed. A huge complex in a gated compound that is being prepared to house people up to 500. There is a kitchen/ dinning area and also a medical and dental facility. It is a large place and is going to be a huge ministry tool that these people would be using. I stepped away from the group to pray over these places. I walked into the field and just began to thank the Lord for this place. I began to stir up my affections for the Lord and just think about this week. As I stood there with my eyes closed the Lord began to show me the angels that are dancing over this place. Preparing for the people that are to come.  A huge community for the Lord to just work through. It was such an amazing experience to see the Lord in such a mighty way their preparing this place for all the people to come.

This will be the final blog entry. This is our final day here and a day of going to a ministry school in New Mexico. A school of young people that do not have a huge background in ministry or that do not have enough money. But have a heart of passion that has been ignited for the Lord. I am most excited about today because I used to be in that same place. Being really saved during my high school days in a place where the Love of God just captivated me. Knowing I wanted to go into ministry yet having no training just a passion. We cannot wait to have the privilege to pray over these young ones. I'm so excited. So this is our sign off. Tonight is our last night and we fly out in the morning.

5Will be home soon, and we keep hearing about snow and lots of it :)
Thank you for your prayers of protection and intercession. We clearly and vividly have seen God at work here. He is good! Amen?! Amen!

Reubin and the rest of the team! Freedom in Jesus!
