Dear Friends and Family, Sorry for not posting earlier due to not being able to get an wifi internet connection
So we are off. It's incredible to believe that after months of waiting, our Mexico Mission Trip group of 20 Redeemerites is embarking on our reading break adventure. God is amazing having provided for all of us financially, and He is continuously preparing our hearts for this missions trip. Praise God ! We have been praying fervently for this missions trip and are very excited to see what the Lord will do in Mexico and in El Paso. We want to open our hearts and lives to what God has planned for us.
Friday classes - they felt like would last forever! - as I am sure many of us can attest to. Most of us said "Adios" to Redeemer UC in the late afternoon. Some of us crashed at one of the team member's house before leaving for early early flights Saturday morning. The fellowship was great as we had time for bonding as a team with some Jenga, Kurplunk, Hungry Hippo, chess, dominos, and ping pong (of course!). The point of staying over at the house was to get some sleep…although that objective wasn't really obtained (as some of us got little to no sleep because of all the talking and laughing), we had a blast together (good food, good friends, good time).
Thus far, traveling has gone smoothly, we are now at the airport waiting for our flights and greatly anticipating what this day will bring. God is good all the time and all the time God is good.
